1. "We believe the Scriptures of the Old and the New Testaments are verbally inspired of God in the originals
(2 Tim.3:16), and that the Scriptures are preserved, inerrant, available, and complete only in the King James Authorized Version, these Scriptures being the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice."
(1 Thess.5:21, Psalm 12:6-7)
2. "We believe in the Trinity of the Godhead- Father, Son and Holy Ghost." (1 John 5:7)
3. "We believe in the absolute Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ (Isaiah 9:6-7)-
In His Virgin birth (Matt.1:23)-
His perfect humanity "was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" (Hebrews 4:14-15);
His vicarious death through the shedding of his blood for the forgiveness of sins (Col. 1:1-29);
His bodily resurrection (Matt. 28:6) and ascension(Acts 1:10-11);
His present high priestly ministry (Hebrews 7:22-28, Hebrews 1:1-3, 1 Tim.2:5),
and in the imminence of His literal and premillenial return." (I Thess. 4:13-17)
4. "We believe in the reality and personality of Satan." (I Pet. 5:8)
5. "We believe in the fall of man through the sin of Adam, and in the consequent necessity of the new birth through Jesus Christ." (Rom. 5:12-21)
6. "We believe that salvation of sinners is wholly of GOD through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in the virtue of His redemptive work on the cross (Ephesians 2:1-18), and that neither baptism, the Lord's supper, nor any other rite, ceremony or work can avail one whit for the sinner's salvation. Christ alone saves." (Isaiah 64:5-7, John 14:6)
7. "We believe that the invisible Church, or Body of Christ, includes all regenerated persons to the second coming of Christ (Acts 20:28) , and that her supreme mission is her world-wide commission as set forth by Christ and His apostles." (Matt. 28:18-20, Mark 16:15)
8. "We believe that the ordinance of baptism is the immersion into water of a believer, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost." (Matt. 28:19, Acts 8:35- 39) (Not part of salvation, I Pet. 3:21)
9. "We believe that every human being has direct relations with God and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith (Rom. 14:11-12) that each church is independent and autonomous and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority, and that church and state must be kept separate as having functions each fulfilling its duties free from the dictation of the other." (Rom. 13:1)
10. "We believe that the Lord's supper was established as a means of showing forth in symbol Christ's death for us until He comes again and that the Lord's table should be open to all regenerated persons living in fellowship with, and obedience to, Jesus Christ." (I Cor. 11:23-32)
11. "We believe in the literal resurrection of the body." (Romans 8:1 1) (I Thess. 4:13-18)
12. "We believe in the eternal salvation of the born again (John 3-16) and in the eternal condemnation of the unsaved in the lake of fire." (Rev. 20:15) (Matt. 13:41-42, 49-50)
13. "We believe in the eternal joy of the believers (I Peter 1:7-9) and the endless suffering of the unbelievers." (Revelation 14:1 1)
14. 'We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God's gift of sex. Any employee of the church becoming pregnant or causing pregnancy as a result of consensual intercourse, outside of the marriage relationship, shall be terminated from employment. (Gen. 2:24; Gen. 19:1 - 25; Gen. 26:6-11; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1:21-32;
1 Cor. 5:1; I Cor.6:9,16; 1 Thess.4:1-8; Heb.13:4). We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. (Gen. 2:24; Rom. 7:2; Eph. 5:22-33). We believe that homosexuality is an abomination is Gods eyes. (Lev. 18:22, Romans 1:26-27.) We support the definition of Marriage as outlined in Section 23 of the Pennsylvania Constitution Statute Subsection I 1 02 as amended by Pennsylvania Act. No. 1996-124, which says that Marriage is "A civil contract by which one man and one woman take each other for husband and wife. " We also support the declaration concerning Marriage between persons of the same sex made in Section 23 of the Pennsylvania Constitution Statute Subsection 1704 added by Pennsylvania Act. No. 1996-124 which says, "It is hereby declared to be the strong and longstanding policy of this Commonwealth that marriage shall be between one man and one woman. A matfiage between persons of the same sex which was entered into in another state or foreign jurisdiction, even if valid where entered into, shall be void in this Commonwealth."(signed by the governor on October 16,1996). We believe that men and women are spiritually equal in position before God but that God has ordained distinct and separate spiritual functions for men and women in the home and the church. The husband is to be the leader of the home and men are to be the leaders (Pastors, Deacons, and Trustees) of the church. Accordingly, only men are eligible for licensure, ordination, or to be elected as a trustee by the church."
(Gal. 3:28; Col.3:18; 1Tim.2:8-15; 1Tim.3:1-13; Titus 1:6)
15. "We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a
living human being. Abortion constitutes the unjustified, unexcused taking of unborn human life. Abortion is murder. We reject any teaching that abortions of pregnancies due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control, the mental well- being of the mother are acceptable."
(Job 3:16, Psa.51:5, Psa.139:14-16;
Isa.44:24; Isa.49:1,5, Jer.1:5; Luke 1:44)
16. "We believe that Christians are prohibited from bringing civil lawsuits against other Christians or the church to resolve personal disputes. We believe the church possess all the resources necessary to resolve personal disputes between members. (1Cor.6:1-8, Eph.4:31-32).
This Confession of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith. The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe. We do believe, however, that the foregoing Confession of Faith accurately represents the teaching of the Bible, and therefore, is binding upon all members.
